BiographyLittle is known about C. B. Cox. In fact nothing. We don’t even know what the “C. B.” stands for—let’s assume it doesn’t stand for “citizens band radio.” Google AI says confidently that he collaborated with Charles King by illustrating “several” of his novels, but Google AI is not forthcoming about how it knows this. It would be unusual indeed if an illustrator worked only with one author and only on “several” projects during his career, but who can reason with AI?
It’s a doggone shame when people who created something worthwhile, something that will last essentially forever to be enjoyed by other people, are themselves forgotten and fade into anonymity.
