Biography
An English Australian, John Alfred Huybers (?–1920) earned his living as an illustrator in America, and from about 1915 until his death as a foreign correspondent for
The Nation and
The Christian Science Monitor in Greece. Beyond that, this is a man about which little is known.
It’s a doggone shame when people who created something worthwhile, something that will last essentially forever to be enjoyed by other people, are themselves forgotten and fade into anonymity. If anyone has more information about this illustrator, please contact us and share that information so we can, in turn, share it with the world.
